Course Leaders: Tracy Berry and Brenda Schepper

In this three-day learning adventure you will see:

  • how a poem and a song will inspire the creation of a painting;
  • how dance, drama, music, and visual arts will deepen our understanding of a text and aboriginal perspectives; and
  • how a mask can reveal our true identities.

We’ve designed these sessions to add new and dynamic strategies to your arts toolkit and to help you to integrate the arts seamlessly throughout the day. We will journey through the creative process in a fun and interactive way that will be sure to add depth and breadth to your teaching and learning and motivate you to enliven your literacy program by exploring the arts with your students.
