Welcome back

Hello Members,

Welcome back! I will keep this newsletter quite short as we will have our official ‘hard copy newsletter’ arriving through the post in the next couple weeks. If you have made any major life changes this summer, that may affect your mailing, please be sure to send updated information to wrotlocal@etfowatots.ca. Included in your annual mailing will be: 2016-2017 Day Planner, Welcome Back Newsletter, Online Training Instructions, Lanyard Insert, and Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan information.

I will be volunteering at the Annual Labour Day Picnic in Waterloo Park on Monday, be sure to drop by for a bite to eat and some entertainment. It is an exciting event and demonstrates our commitment to organized labour. Our local makes a donation to this event through our Regional Teacher group ‘Together in Education.” The local also has their “Welcome Back Breakfast” Saturday, September 10th. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the executive members, re-connect with colleagues and do some networking.

I wish everyone a great start to the school year, and keep an eye on your mailbox.
